Ahoy!
Last summer I was able to sail with this neat windjammer. Well, to tell you the truth I wasn't actually sailing but just sitting on board. But it was enough to sense the great feeling of sailing at the archipelago. There was this dense fog at the sea and that is also visible in this photograph. But the fog only gave some extra excitement to this adventure.

Lakes
A land of a thousand lakes. That's Finland. These pictures of a lake called Pielinen are taken from the top of Koli, a hill situated in North-Karelia.

Still-lifes in black and white
Here are some graphical still-lifes. I don't have specific information about the equipment that I used for these particular images. But I believe I took the first two pictures in the studio with a Hasselblad and the others with an old SLR, Olympus OM-1n. But anyway, I like the rustic feeling of these photos.

Copenhagen
The beautiful capital of Denmark! It is a "must see" place for all who like to travel in Scandinavia. In Copenhagen there are great places to visit, especially in the summer. Here are some shots from Copenhagen. I'm really fond of the old buildings and the street views at the city center.

Views from Lapland
I went hiking in Lapland and saw these great views on a day trip. The weather was nice for trekking with a backpack and a camera. The hills of Ylläs and Levi are beautiful and great for enjoying the atmosphere of Finnish nature.

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog! Through this blog my aim is to show you some pictures with a scandinavian view. Here's my first picture! I Hope you enjoy. Picture is taken from Mikonkari, Raahe. The sun was just setting and it painted the sky with pink and purple and that hue is reflecting in this picture as well giving it a dreamy feel.
